Sunday stocktake
The depot stocktake was done on Sundays, when the base was empty. It was the perfect day for counting boxes, and for the numbers to stop adding up. Four people and one grenade: one person per row, one per column. Whoever is left alone with it in the same room is the one you're looking for.
Suspects
- Arnaldo, the stocktake corporal: He counts boxes on Sundays because during the week there are too many people around.
- Bela, the commander's secretary: She types up the stocktake. The numbers always change between the first and second version.
- Caio, the workshop mechanic: He fixes the jeeps and lends tools to people who never give them back.
- Dolores, the mess cook: She brings coffee to whoever works on Sundays and takes the gossip back to the mess.
