The office's memory
At the parliamentary inquiry, everybody knew everything except what they were asked. The stenographer has used up two pens just on 'I don't recall'. Some clues in this case come as riddles. Not every row and column has to be occupied.
Suspects
- Anacleto, the chief of staff: He knew everything, except what he was asked about. He wasn't there for that part.
- Benvinda, the committee MP: She asks yes-or-no questions. She gets maybe answers.
- Celestino, the minister's adviser: He carries the folders and brings back the answers. The answers are always in the wrong folder.
- Dores, the stenographer: She writes down everything said in the committee. She has used up two pens just on 'I don't recall'.
