Someone said that, at the limit, there might not even have been a theft. At the limit, there might not be a culprit either. But there is. Some clues in this case come as riddles. Four people and one grenade: one person per row, one per column. Whoever is left alone with it in the same room is the one you're looking for.

Suspects

• Afonso, the public relations officer: He says that, at the limit, there may have been no theft. At the limit, there may have been no depot either.
• Brites, the nurse corporal: She treats sprains, flu and panic attacks. Since the theft, only panic attacks.
• Caetano, the recruit: He arrived at the base the week of the theft. He still thinks it's always like this.
• Damiana, the base accountant: She keeps the inventory up to date. It's the equipment that doesn't stay put.
