One box short

The lorry left the base with its load counted and came back with its load counted. But between one count and the other a box was missing, and nobody knows in which direction. Not every row and column has to be occupied.

Suspects

• Alberto, the warehouse chief: He signs the dispatch notes. Some he signs before knowing what's going out.
• Belisa, the lorry driver: She loaded the lorry at six in the morning. She counted the boxes once and didn't like the result.
• Crisóstomo, the workshop soldier: He fixes anything with wheels. Anything without, he pushes.
• Débora, the parade sergeant: She shouts the orders at roll call. That morning nobody was missing, but a box was.
