The eleven o'clock wiretap
At eleven at night, the president's phone rang and someone on the other end asked for 'the usual'. Whoever heard the wiretap is still trying to work out what the usual is. Some clues in this case come as riddles. The clues no longer hand you everything on a plate.
Suspects
- Aristides, the club president: He says he has never talked about fruit on the phone. He talks about fruit in person.
- Benta, the club secretary: She answers the president's phone. She has learned to say 'he's not in' in four different tones.
- Cesário, the sports journalist: He writes columns about refereeing. Since the wiretaps he writes twice as many.
- Doroteu, the telecoms technician: He came to fix the president's phone. He left with a lot of questions and a wiretap.
