Proof of delivery
After asking nicely came the registered letter, with proof of delivery, asking for the video to come down. The letter arrived. The video stayed put. A second copy of the letter went missing inside the post office itself. The clues no longer hand you everything on a plate.
Suspects
- Alzira, the counter clerk: She's been stamping delivery receipts for thirty years. She says she's never read a letter, but she knows them by their weight.
- Bernardino, the postman: He delivered the letter and asked for a signature. He got the signature and a look he won't forget.
- Conceição, the postmistress: She has one rule: registered mail never goes missing. This is the first exception to the rule.
- Dionísio, the van driver: He takes the sacks to the distribution centre. He says they weigh the same with or without second copies.
