The supermarket says thank you
The supermarket chain thanked everyone online for getting the country singing. You can't buy advertising like that, and some people wanted to keep the most valuable piece of the campaign: the microphone.
Suspects
- Amadeu, the store manager: He runs the store opposite the concert. He's never sold so much on a Sunday and still doesn't know whom to thank.
- Benta, the marketing director: She spent millions on ads and was overtaken by a chorus that cost nothing.
- Cristiano, the social media intern: He wrote the thank-you post in five minutes and is already asking for a pay rise.
- Dorinda, the cashier: She's been on the till for twenty years. Since the concert, every customer asks her what's in the car.
- Ezequiel, the car's driver: He drives the most famous car in the country. Nobody had ever asked him what was inside.
- Fátima, the shelf-stacker: She restocked the shelves three times that day. The microphone wasn't on any of them.
- Godofredo, the everyday customer: He comes shopping every day. That day he didn't buy anything.
- Hortense, the in-store advertising manager: She played the chorus over the loudspeakers. Now she can't get it out of her head.
