Four people and one microphone: one person per row, one per column. Whoever is left alone with it in the same room is the one you're looking for.

Suspects

• Arminda, the producer: She drew up the list of who could go backstage. It had forty names and one woman nobody wrote down.
• Belarmino, the number one fan: He has tickets to every concert and a tattoo of the song's lyrics. He picked the wrong song.
• Carolina, the catering cook: She makes sandwiches for the artists. She knows who ate what and who was too nervous to eat.
• Dinis, the roadie: He carries speakers, cables and blame. This year he only carried the first two.
