Village karaoke

At the village festival, the karaoke had a list of forty songs and only one was ever requested. Halfway through the night, the microphone stopped going from hand to hand. The clues no longer hand you everything on a plate.

Suspects

• Aldegundes, the parish council president: She organises the karaoke every year. This year only one song was requested.
• Benedito, the priest: He blessed the karaoke and sang the chorus after mass.
• Clarinda, the bar owner: She serves beer and keeps the karaoke list. The list has the same request thirty times.
• Deolindo, the emigrant home on holiday: He came from France for the festival. He takes the microphone everywhere, out of habit.
