The day after at the supermarket

The day after the concert, everyone went to the supermarket to see the car. Between queues at the tills and the chorus playing over the loudspeakers, the microphone turned up in the shop and vanished again. Eleven rooms, nine people and several hypotheses right to the end.

Suspects

• Amália, the store manager: She had the chorus played over the loudspeakers. By the third day she regretted it.
• Brás, the delivery car driver: He drives the most famous car in the country. He can no longer park without someone asking what he's carrying.
• Clementina, the cashier: She hears the chorus sung by every customer who goes by. She knows all the variations.
• Dionísio, the shelf-stacker: He restocks the fruit and swears the car only carried bananas.
• Etelvina, the everyday customer: She goes shopping every day at nine. On the day of the concert she went at half past nine, and that says a lot.
• Filipe, the marketing intern: He wants to make an advert with the chorus. He's missing the permission, the budget and the microphone.
• Guilhermina, the food safety inspector: She came to inspect the butcher's counter and left asking what's in the car.
• Hermes, the store security guard: He watches the store cameras. That day he was watching the concert video on repeat.
• Iracema, the loyalty card customer: She has the card with the most points in the store. She knows what time everyone goes through the till.
