The MP who arrived early

On the morning the break-in was discovered, one MP swears he arrived before everyone else and saw nothing. Another swears she arrived even earlier and saw him. Not every row and column has to be occupied.

Suspects

• Albertina, the MP for Beja: She catches the six o'clock train and gets in before everyone else.
• Bonifácio, the library clerk: He opens the library at eight. Nobody goes there, but he opens it.
• Cesaltina, the usher: She carries papers from one place to another. Sometimes papers nobody gave her.
• Dagoberto, the independent MP: He votes alone and walks alone. That day he had plenty of company.
