The two USB sticks
Besides the papers, two USB sticks with 'confidential and political' information disappeared. Nobody can say whether there were copies, but everyone swears there were. Someone used the confusion to be left alone with the evidence.
Suspects
- Albertina, the data protection officer: She wrote the party's privacy policy. Nobody has read it yet, including the party.
- Bráulio, the systems administrator: He runs all the servers on his own. He says he trusts the backups, but never shows them to anyone.
- Caetano, the social media manager: He runs the official page and, in his spare time, a few 'spontaneous supporter' accounts.
- Doroteia, the cybersecurity technician: She changed the server password to '123456'. She says it's the last thing a hacker would think of.
- Efigénia, the external auditor: She asked for access to everything. She's still waiting for half of it.
- Florêncio, the garage security guard: He saw three cars leave that night. He only noted one number plate.
- Gertrudes, the photocopying clerk: She photocopies whatever is put in front of her. You can't photocopy a USB stick, and that annoys her.
- Hilário, the IT intern: He formatted a USB stick by mistake last week. He swears it was only one.
